Aaditya Chalise/ The epidemic of covid 19, which spread from China’s Huan province, has now hit almost every country in the world. The disease, which first appeared in the last week of December, has now infected about 7 million people worldwide. About 300,000 people have died. The number of recoveries is also increasing in a Hopeful way.
In Nepal, the impact has been small in the early stages, but in recent times, the transition has increased rapidly. Due to the recent increase in the number of people coming to Nepal from India, the infection has increased rapidly. If the government does not manage quarantine properly, the epidemic in Nepal is sure to get worse. There are many challenges to overcome during this epidemic. In a situation where even the most powerful nations of the world are unable to fight this pendemic, it is natural for a country like Nepal to be challenged.
The solution to this epidemic and the challenge of the country’s development has now come to the fore. At present, the challenges are as follows.
* – Reducing the infection rate.
* – Reducing the fear caused by corona.
* – To solve the economic problem caused by covid 19
* – The infection is spreading rapidly and it should be tested rapidly but it seems to have the necessary health supplies, there is a challenge to solve it immediately.
* – Ordinary people are more affected by hunger than disease, for the solution of which relief distribution should be made effective.
* – Development works are feared to be affected by the lockdown, which is an important challenge now to operate and open the lockdown.
* – All educational programs have been stoped for the past three months,Resolving this and removing the educational damage that has taken place so far is also a challenge.
* – Due to the negative feelings towards this disease, there is a growing tendency to look at the people coming from the affected areas with negative feelings. It is also a challenge to solve it.
At the same time, in spite of this heterogeneous situation, the challenge now is to carry out development works, conduct educational programs and maintain social economy in the society.
Despite these problems, it has certainly created some opportunities.
I see opportunities like this coming from this ,
* – Families who are far away due to work have the opportunity to live together for a long time.
* – Taught to make full use of technology.
* – It has been taught that any kind of problem may come in the future, for which one should be fully prepared.
* – Many foreigners are more likely to come because of covid 19. In this way, the returned people have been given the opportunity to develop the country by creating employment in the country.
*- Nepal is an agricultural country. Attracting people returning from abroad to modern agriculture at this time can make Nepal self-reliant in agriculture.
I hope this pendemic will be eradicated from the world soon. Let’s face the challenge of income due to all diseases and use the opportunity gained from it.
